First Neuro Advanced Stroke Centre in Mangaluru has been honored with the prestigious Angels Award 2024 by the World Stroke Organization (WSO) for its excellence in stroke care. This recognition, a symbol of the ‘Gold Standard in Stroke Care,’ highlights the hospital’s commitment to high-quality treatment.
The award ceremony took place on September 21 at the hospital, with Rohan Gouri from WSO presenting the award. Dr. Raghavendra shared insights on the hospital’s achievements, while Medical Director Dr. Rajesh Shetty expressed gratitude, reaffirming their dedication to excellence in stroke treatment.

This acknowledgement reaffirms the hospital's dedication to providing high-quality stroke care services to the community. Dr.Mohammed Shameem K. A., Consultant Neurologist, received the award at the event, which took place on October 27, 2023, at the Taj Skyline in Ahmedabad.

The Campaign set an excellent response in both the states Karnataka and Kerala. We created awareness among the general public, police officers, firefighters, KSRTC Staffs, Auto-Owners & Drivers, Taxi Owners & Drivers.
It was 25 days campaign set in First Neuro Hospital’s branded Mobile Van. The campaign took place in the state of Karnataka and Kerala.
In Karnataka it lasted for 19 days, covering 6 districts and 19 different towns. Totally 1473 people screened for BP & GRBS.
Whereas, in Kerala, it lasted for 6 days covering 12 towns of 2 districts. A total of 725 people screened for BP & GRBS.
